Every year in Italy millions of people need non-emergency medical transport: for dialysis, a specialist appointment, a hospital discharge, a radiotherapy session. Yet booking one is still opaque, fragmented and stressful for families.

We founded Niino in 2024 to change that. Our mission is to digitise an essential but overlooked sector, giving passengers and the people who care for them a clear, predictable and human experience — from the request all the way back home.

A medical transport marketplace, not a transport company

Niino is a technology platform: we do not own ambulances or directly employ rescuer drivers. Our role is to connect people who need medical transport with the most suitable authorised operator nearby at that moment.

All our partners are healthcare companies authorised by their Region, with vehicles compliant with regulations and trained staff (rescuer drivers, rescuers). We only work with operators who share our standards of punctuality, kindness and care.

The three vehicles available — ambulance, wheelchair-accessible van, medical car — cover every non-emergency transport need.
